Brayden Watson Fourth and Sixth in Jackson 100 Weekend!

(September 25, 2022) Brayden Watson and his #93w team made the short trek to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on September 23-24 for the 43rd edition of the 'Jackson 100.' The Open Wheel Modifieds ran in two separate events - each of which shelled out a $1,000 top prize. In Friday's weekend opener, Brayden placed third in his heat race and later started ninth on the grid in the A-Main, which was pushed back to late Saturday afternoon due to persistent rain showers.

The Bedford, Indiana youngster blasted past a handful of competitors to land in the fourth finishing position of the postponed feature behind only victor Ryan Thomas, Dillon Nusbaum, and Cole Falloway. At Brownstown on Saturday evening in a similar $1,000 to win show, Brayden ran third in his heat race and climbed to as high as third in the running order late in the main event before slipping to the sixth spot at the waving of the checkered flag. More Motor Issues Halt Brayden Watson at Florence Speedway

(September 18, 2022) With their mechanical issues from last week at Bloomington Speedway seemingly fixed, the Watson Racing team struck out to Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, September 17 for a $1,200 to win Open Wheel Modified program. Brayden Watson started eighth in his heat race at the Cincinnati-area venue, but once again mechanical gremlins struck the #93w machine. Due to additional motor issues, Brayden was forced to settle for an eleventh place showing in the heat race and later scratched from the A-Main for the second straight weekend. Mechanical Woes Slow Watson at Bloomington Speedway

(September 10, 2022) Brayden Watson and his #93w team invaded Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, Indiana on Friday night, September 9 for the final race of the season at the nearby 1/4-mile dirt oval. Brayden clicked off the third quickest lap in his group during the qualifying session and was running second in his heat race until unfortunately hurting a motor. He was relegated to an eighth place finish in the prelim and was scheduled to start fifteenth on the grid in the weekly Open Wheel Modified main event. However, the Bedford, Indiana ace wound up scratching from the headliner due to the mechanical troubles. Watson Climbs to Fourth in Paragon Speedway Visit!

(August 21, 2022) Bedford, Indiana ace Brayden Watson took his #93w Open Wheel Modified to Paragon Speedway in Paragon, Indiana on Saturday evening, August 20 for a $1,000 to win special event. Brayden knocked down the third quickest time in his group during qualifying before running third in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the A-Main, Brayden was able to move past a couple of competitors en route to a stellar fourth place effort behind only victor Nick Hoffman, Derek Groomer, and Cole Falloway! Brayden Watson Sixth in Iron-Man Modified Series Special

(August 7, 2022) Brayden Watson and his #93w team invaded the nearby Brownstown Speedway on Saturday night, August 6, as the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series rolled into the Brownstown, Indiana oval to preside over a $1,000 to win throwdown. Brayden stopped the clock third fastest in his group during qualifying before running third in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the fourth row in the 20-lap contest, Brayden vaulted up to as high as fifth in the running order before eventually finishing sixth in the final rundown. The Bedford, Indiana ace trailed only victor Tyler Nicely, Derek Groomer, Jordan Wever, Cole Falloway, and John Demoss at the checkers! Jackson County Fair Events Produce Pair of Top Fives

(July 31, 2022) The Watson Racing team and driver Brayden Watson returned to the nearby Brownstown Speedway for a pair of events during the Grand Champion Jackson County Fair. On Thursday night, Brayden qualified third quickest in his group and later finished third in his heat race. He was then scheduled to start ninth on the feature grid before the rains came and pushed the A-Main back until Saturday, July 30. When the $755 to win contest finally resumed to kick off the program on Saturday, Brayden roared all the way up to second in the running order before settling for a third place podium effort behind only victor Jordan Wever and runner-up Will Krup!

In the regularly scheduled show on Saturday during the Jackson County Fair, which boasted a $1,025 paycheck, Brayden laid down the fastest lap in his group during Open Wheel Modified qualifying and won his heat race to earn the pole position for the feature event. The Bedford, Indiana ace unfortunately backed up a few spots during the course of the headliner and was officially scored in the fifth finishing position behind only race winner Jordan Wever, Jacoby Hines, Will Krup, and Ben Harmon. Watson Sees Strong Florence Run Halted by Driveshaft Woes

Brayden moved up three spots in his heat race to finish fourth and later rolled off from the outside of the fifth row in the 20-lap feature event. Brayden Watson Sneaks into Lincoln Park; Finishes Runner-Up!

(June 5, 2022) The Watson Racing team made a last minute decision to attend Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday, June 4 and snuck into the Putnamville, Indiana oval to compete in a weekly Open Wheel Modified program. After timing in third quickest in his group during qualifying, Brayden Watson secured a strong heat race triumph. He then rolled off from the inside of the third row in the A-Main and quickly found himself battling for the point. Unfortunately, a caution came out just when Brayden had taken the lead and the Bedford, Indiana ace was forced to settle for as strong runner-up behind only victor Will Bennett. Watson Nabs Pair of Podiums Over Memorial Day Weekend!

(May 30, 2022) Brayden Watson and his #93w team traveled to both Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana and Rock Crest Raceway in North Vernon, Indiana on May 28-29 for a pair of weekly Open Wheel Modified events. On Saturday at Brownstown, Brayden earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session, won his heat race, and later slipped back to third to finish on the podium behind only victor Derek Groomer and runner-up Jordan Wever. The Bedford, Indiana driver experienced the same exact evening on Sunday at North Vernon, as he set Fast Time in qualifying, won his heat race, and finished third in the A-Main behind only Groomer and Wever. Brayden Watson Wins for First Time in 2022 at Brownstown!!!

(May 15, 2022) The Watson Racing team celebrated in victory lane for the first time in 2022 on Saturday night, May 14 at the nearby Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana! Brayden Watson turned the second quickest lap in his group during Open Wheel Modified qualifying prior to picking up a last lap heat race triumph. After rolling off from the outside of the front row in the weekly main event at the 1/4-mile oval, Brayden came out on top of a great race to capture the $600 winner's check over a top five that included Jordan Wever, John Clippinger, Tim Prince, and Matt Boknecht!

A night earlier, the #93w team was in the pit area on Friday at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, Indiana to compete in the annual 'Roddy Strong Memorial.' The popular Open Wheel Modified special boasted a $4,009 top prize. Brayden stopped the clock sixth quickest in Group A during the qualifying session and later ran third in his loaded heat race. The Bedford, Indiana ace then started the 30-lap headliner from the outside of the fifth row before steering past four competitors during the caution-free contest to land in the sixth finishing position. Watson Ninth in Midweek Brownstown Special; Third at Florence!

(May 1, 2022) Brayden Watson and his #93w team were in action in a pair of $1,000 to win contests from April 27-30 in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. At the nearby Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Wednesday evening, the Open Wheel Modifieds were on the undercard of a program headlined by the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series. Brayden finished seventh in his heat race prior to securing a victory in the B-Main. After rolling off from the inside of the tenth row in the A-Main, Brayden steered past ten competitors during the contest to salvage a steady ninth place performance.

On Saturday night, the Watson Racing team made the trek to Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. After hauler problems made for a late arrival, Brayden advanced two spots to finish second in his heat race. The young Bedford, Indiana driver then started third in the 20-lapper and finished on the podium in third behind only victor Cole Falloway and runner-up Brandon Green. (April 24, 2022) The Watson Racing team invaded Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday evening, April 23 for their second event of the 2022 racing season. Brayden Watson timed in fourth fastest in his group during Open Wheel Modified qualifying prior to running fourth in his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the sixth row in the weekly A-Main, Brayden was able to steer past eight competitors during the contest to land on the podium. The Bedford, Indiana driver was credited with a third place finish behind only winner Jordan Wever and runner-up Ken Schrader! Watson Caught Up in Wreck Running Second in Season Opener

(April 17, 2022) Brayden Watson and his #93w team kicked off their version of the 2022 racing season at Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday, April 16. The 46th edition of the 'Spring 50' took place yesterday at the Cincinnati-area venue and a $1,000 top prize was up for grabs for the open wheel warriors. Brayden advanced from eighth to second in his heat race and later rolled off from the inside of the second row in the daytime feature event.

He was then running a strong second in the A-Main when a lapped car unfortunately spun right in front of him and collected his Diamond racecar. The incident dropped Brayden to a disappointing fifteenth place performance in his season lid lifter, but the Watson Racing team is very pumped about the speed of the car in its first race out of the box!
